Agrifood systems knowledge exchange through Australia‐Pacific circular migration schemes

Pacific Island workers contribute significantly to Australiaʼs agriculture and food security through the Seasonal Worker Programme (SWP). Previous studies show economic benefits of SWP both Australian agro-industries workers. However, there are limited about agricultural knowledge exchange that occurs via circular migration enabled by SWP, experiences employers as holders. With merged into Australia Labour Mobility Scheme, is an opportunity help define how development policy. In this paper, we present findings from interviews with 63 (from Solomon Islands, Tonga, Vanuatu) skills acquired exchanged participation. We provide a discussion opportunities for in international labour mobility, areas future research migration.
